Ilaya Highland Resort is a Balinese inspired resort located in Brgy. Patag, Silay City. Patag is known for its cold weather and best place to go most specially during summer. Before the opening of Ilaya Highland Resort it became viral across social media because of its infinity pool. Also the nice ambiance surrounded by blooming endemic flowers added accent to the resot. It is definitely a place where you can relax and commune with nature. So if you are looking for a place to get rid from the hustle and bustle of the metro this is the place.
Ilaya Highland Resort is the only resort in Silay with a swimming pool on a ledge. The swimmer can enjoy the fresh water with a very nice view of the city from afar. The water in the pool is directly drawn from natural springs abound Patag, so expect that it is fresh, cool, pure and chemical free!
The resort is also surrounded by endemic blooming flowers and orchids from the collection of resort owner Mrs. Anita Hinolan and her husband Robert. Behind the resort is a thick forest with century old trees that makes the place more relaxing.
How to Get There
From Bacolod City to Silay City
- Ride a bus from New Ceres North Terminal bound to Victorias. Ask the conductor to drop you to Patag – Capitan Ramon Terminal in Silay City. Landmark: Prince Hypermarket.
- It is approximately 40 – 45 minutes travel from Silay City. If you reach Patag you can ask the conductor to take you to Ilaya Highland Resort and they will definitely drop you there.
Fare: PHP 45.00
Via Private vehicle: You can use Waze app and locate Bargy. Patag. When you reach Patag you can ask locals where is Ilaya Higland Resort. ??
Food and Service
The resort hIlaya Highland Resort Ratesas its own restaurant and cafe. Guest are not allowed to bring food inside the resort. Also, the resort hires most of their staff from Brgy. Patag to help locals.

As of now Ilaya is not open for overnight stay but still working on their rooms’ development plan.
